This is an example of the Valamis Centre of Excellence home page, designed to give customers essential onboarding resources and support in one place.

I use a similar approach, tailored to each customer’s training goals, audience, and technical setup, to build their own customized platform. This example reflects the type of environment I create for customers as part of implementation and adoption support.

PROCESS TO BUILD LXP TRAINING PLATFORM END-TO-END FOR CUSTOMERS

1) Discovery & Training Needs Analysis (Stakeholder workshops)

  • Align on business goals, target audiences, and success metrics

  • Map sites, user roles, skills, learning journeys (what people must know and do)

  • Review current content, learning strategy, gaps, constraints, and rollout timeline

2) Platform Foundation Setup (Branding, structure, access)

  • Configure branding and UI basics (logo, font, look & feel)

  • Set up sites and information architecture (catalogs, tagging, naming)

  • Create users, roles/permissions, groups, and enrollment rules for the right access

  • Establish admin processes and content governance for scaling

3) Demo &  Admin training

  • Run platform demos aligned to key use cases and learner journeys

  • Train admins (customer's L&D/ HR teams) and key stakeholders on daily operations and best practices

  • Provide documentation, how-to guides, and launch checklists

  • Validate setup with pilot users and fix friction points before go-live

​

4) Go-live Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Support launch communications and onboarding for learners/ managers

  • Track usage and learning engagement (adoption, completion, drop-offs)

  • Gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and improve content/ platform setup

  • Iterate based on data to increase usage and learning impact
